The Velocity and Intrinsic Progression of Sexual Sin

Recently, I viewed a movie with my daughter, niece, nephew and his wife - all adults - and the question, "why would a married man desire to be intimate with another male and remain married?"was asked. That question coupled with other questions like, "what would cause a woman or man who's been married and have children to enter a same sex relationship?" "What causes a sexual predator to prey on children?" What causes a father or mother to be intimate with their children?" "Why is sexual sins ever increasing?" Concerns about these behaviors have been around for a long time. So, why haven't the increase of knowledge in the land provided answers and cures for this sickness?
We shared opinions and finally I remembered that opinions do not answer questions. Therefore, I asked the Holy Spirit for biblical answers. Thus, His answer - not an opinion...

Romans 1:18-32
"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold [suppress] the truth in unrighteousness. Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; SO THAT THEY ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE: Because that, when they knew God, THEY GLORIFIED HIM NOT AS GOD, NEITHER WERE THANKFUL; but became vain, in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise they became fools. An changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to UNCLEANNESS THROUGH THE LUSTS OF THEIR OWN HEARTS, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up to vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature; And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, BURNED in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. AND even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things WHICH ARE NOT CONVENIENT: Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity [evil mindedness], whisperers, Backbiters, HATERS OF GOD, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable [unforgiving] unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them." [See also 1 Corinthians 6: 13-20].

All the sins above begin with two acts of man's will that release a spirit called "perverse" into the lives of the participants - and if not broken, maybe even to the lives of the next generation. Act no. 1, Because when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, and (2) They were not thankful, but became vain. We may say, this is not true... that's too simple... I have no opinion, re-read the scriptures.

So, why is the velocity - the rate of speed - of sin increasing? Because we KNOW God, but do not thank Him for all He does for us (as we can do nothing without Him), neither do we give Him glory, honor and praise that is due Him. Let's make a decision today, that we will no longer take pride in education, business contacts, knowledge acquired - but, for every successful endeavor -give honor to our Lord and Savior. Let Him know how much we appreciate Him and are grateful for ALL He does.

I ask you to unite your faith with mine and pray that the people of the earth began to honor God and be grateful and thankful. It is then, we will begin to see a decrease in the velocity of sin.

Also, consider true repentance and holiness!

Winds of Change, continued

Sitting in Dallas, TX on June 6, 2008, I was curious about the onslaught of the tempestous winds that had blown for the past two weeks. After a week of non-stop winds, I knew there was more to the whistling and rustling of the winds through the tree-lined streets of North Dallas. I watched how the winds blew through the trees communicatng with each branch and leaf AND how the trees responded. The wind was speaking... whispering... gently delivering a message. Was anyone listening? Although the wnds were strong, powerful and forceful, yet they were gentle and calming. Immediately, I knew they were not meant as a destructive force, but in her own very special way nature was demonstrating what was happening in the spirit realm.
As I've lived in the southwest for a few years and never experienced the winds to this consistent degree, I inquired of the Lord. This is the encouragement that connected with my spirit...
The winds were "of change" - they blew away an abundance of chaff and debris from the earth and began a cleansing in the land. The winds blew open doors of oportunity and receptivity for full-time kingdom ministry in preparation of the Lord's return. Every assignment that God has given you will now come to pass without interruption, adversity and hindrance. All resources are NOW in place - be open and receive.
NOW is the time for kingdom ministry to go forth. As the called of the Lord, according to His purpose, NOW is the time for the desires and passions to manifest that He placed in your spirit. Whatever He assigned you to do for the kingdom, the time is NOW to fulfill it.
In the past few years, the East Winds blew and caused storms that wrecked every aspiration and attempt; blew and appeared to wither every harvest from the seeds planted; and tempestously tried to blow away hope, faith and inspiration.
And if lost hope and despair were not enough, the West Winds came and brought with it what seemed like years of plagues of locust and cankerworns that ate away at every endeavor, venture and undertaking - year by year and bit by bit.
And, recently in the past couple of years, the winds made a shift and blew down in the valley. The North Winds blew and caused a light, tranquil rain that was refreshing. And from somewhere in the very pit of your sanctified soul, a renewal of strength and energy burst forth. The passions, dreams and plans of the Lord were ignited. In 2007, the trek from the floor of the valley began.
And in May, June 2008, the South Winds blew with its gentle, placid and serene breeze, soothing and purifying the God-inspired visions of ministry. From these South Winds grew opportunities and all resources (including human and financial) to complete the assignment of kingdom ministry and fulfill God's command.
Remember, Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."

Philippians 1:6, "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."

AMEN and so be it!

Experiencing Family

For family to be the first institution God established in the organized earth, it [family] has deteriorated, regressed and postulated. The original family consisted of father - in his role as teacher, provider and protector; mother - in her loving role as caregiver, comforter and nurturer; and children in their role as ... well ... children to be raised in the nuture and admonition of the Lord. Today, however, a large percentage of American families consist of single parents, children who are raised by their grandparents or other relatives, and numerous foster parents. What happened to the family institution God lovingly created so long ago?
The antebellum of slavery, the apostolic pensions of the Civil War, and the gruesome Post-traumatic stress effects of Vietnam and Dessert Storm, strung together with the revolutions, coming of age, liberation movements and sexual freedoms in the 1960s and 1970s, the family as a unit lost footage. But, the good news [GOSPEL] is that the plan for family has not changed. It is the same as it was in the beginning. What we MUST do is reinstitute, reinforce and return to the original plan. That strategic plan is written in the book of Ephesians in the holy bible beginning with chapter one and concluding with the source of power to stand in these last days in chapter six.
If you want to see a change.... you must have knowledge as we perish for the lack thereof!
